I usually run TLP for battery power optimization, but at the same time I like to switch off bluetooth. I usually don't use bluetooth for anything so when I needed it for video file transfer from my Android phone, I needed to work out a couple of things.
For example to make the computer bluetooth discoverable:
sudo hciconfig hci0 up
