Vegan Power: The Little Game About Eating Fruit, Not Friends

Vegan Power began as a simple Android game in 2020 with a very plain joke at its heart: eat fruit, not friends.

It is now playable at veganpower.grn.dk in any modern browser. There is no app store, no sign-up and no setup. Open the page, move the little yellow hero, and start catching fruit.

The game

Fruit falls from the top of the screen: bananas, oranges, strawberries, pears and watermelons. Catching it adds to your score. The pace rises as you go, so the first few seconds feel gentle and the next minute starts asking for real attention.

Animals fall too. Chickens, cows, pigs and penguins are the ones to avoid. Vegan Power gives you seven hearts, and each animal costs one. That is the whole rule set, which is exactly why it works: you understand it immediately, then keep playing because the next run might be better.

Why it is fun

Vegan Power does not lecture. It takes a friendly idea and turns it into a quick reflex challenge. Children can enjoy the joke, adults can chase a high score, and one round is short enough for a coffee break.

The browser version also makes it easy to share. Send someone the link, or open it on a phone, tablet or desktop and play right away.
